Simon Schäfer Gearporn

Gearporn consists of a vast collection of modified obsolete electronic instruments, toys, Super Nintendos and video mixers which the artist takes apart, adds to and resuscitates for live audio-visual performances.

Gearporn is a joined venture of Simon Schäfer and his alter ego "der Warst".

Simon Schäfer is a Sculptor / Media Artist from Germany, currently studying a the Royal College of Art. Der Warst is his media self, a combination of the artist and his gear.
